A woman charged in relation to the death of her two-year-old son has appeared before the Lautoka High Court.
Vaseva Kabu faces one count of manslaughter.
It is alleged that on 18th October 2017 in Tavua, she neglected to supervise her toddler while travelling on a bus.
The child allegedly placed his head outside the bus window and became trapped between the bus and an Energy Fiji Limited post, resulting in his death.
The State has filed the Information in the matter.
The case has been adjourned to 18th March 2026 for disclosures, while the accused person’s bail has been further extended.
