Western Division 2 first team to qualify for Police IDC semi-final

Western Division 2 Police soccer team is the first team to qualify for the semi-final of the Kontiki Finance Police IDC tournament currently underway at the Nasova Grounds.

This comes as Western Division 2 beat the Central Division team 2-nil today.

Dev Raj and Nadi soccer rep, Rahul Krishna scored goals for Western Division 2.

They beat Headquarters 1 nil yesterday.

Defending champion, Police Special Response Unit will need to win or draw their match against Western Division 1 to qualify for the semi-final.

PSRU has the services of renowned district soccer players such as Sairusi Nalaubu, Madhavan Goundar, Simione Tamanisau and Tevita Waranivalu.

Meanwhile, the match between the Southern Division and Headquarters has just begun.

The game is tied at nil-all.
