British broadcaster and actor Russell Brand has pleaded not guilty to two further charges of rape and sexual assault during a hearing at Southwark Crown Court in London.
The 50-year-old, who is also the former husband of pop star Katy Perry, appeared in court yesterday to enter his pleas in relation to alleged offences said to have taken place in 2009.
The charges concern two women and relate to incidents alleged to have occurred in London, according to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Brand denied both counts during the brief hearing.
He has previously pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape, one count of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault linked to alleged incidents in London and Bournemouth between 1999 and 2005, involving four women.
The case is due to proceed through the courts at a later date.
