Ratu Meli Saubulinayau has been appointed as Chairman of the iTaukei Lands and Fisheries Commission.
Ratu Meli hails from Tubou Village in Lakeba, Lau and he replaces Apimeleki Tola.
Ratu Meli is a former senior officer of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces with extensive leadership experience in both national and international operations.
Following his military service, Ratu Meli served as Chairman of the Lau Provincial Council and Chairman of Cricket Fiji until his recent appointment.
