Member of Parliament, Professor Biman Prasad’s pre-trial conference has been set for the 20th of April.
He appeared this morning before Magistrate Yogesh Prasad.
He is charged with two counts of failure to comply with statutory disclosure requirements.
The FICAC lawyer informed Magistrate Prasad that they are in the process of preparing agreed facts to shorten the trial.
Defence lawyer Ashish Nand says they have not agreed to anything yet and are currently discussing the matter.
Professor Prasad is also charged with providing false information in a statutory declaration, having allegedly recklessly submitted a declaration that omitted his directorship, rendering it materially false.
