Nigel Yogesh Singh, who allegedly set fire to the QVS Club House in Suva in June last year, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of arson.
Singh appeared before Suva High Court Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere this morning.
The Prosecution told the court that they have received Singh's psychiatric evaluation report.
According to the report, Singh was aware of his actions on the date of the alleged incident, he is fit to take his plea, he should be able to meaningfully participate in the court proceedings and he does have a history of substance use and anti personal traits.
Singh had earlier told Justice Tuiqereqere that he has no family in Fiji to act as sureties as they are overseas, and that he is homeless and begs on the streets.
