Nasivikoso District School in the interior of Ba has made history this year after all it's Year 8 students achieved a 100 percent pass rate in the external examination for the very first time despite network connectivity challenges.

Year 8 teacher, Lanieta Orodai who guided the class throughout the year says she had 17 students sitting the exam and the majority scored over 400 marks out of 500.

She says that even their lowest mark was an impressive 277.

Orodai revealed that at the beginning of the year, she introduced a special classroom rule where every Wednesday, the students would observe a day of fasting.

She adds this was part of their collective commitment and spiritual preparation toward achieving their goal of a full pass rate.

The teacher says when the results were released yesterday, she could not hold back her emotions as she witnessed the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices made by her students turn into reality.

She adds that despite many challenges throughout the year, the students remained focused and determined, and their persistence has now been rewarded with this remarkable achievement.
