A man in his 40s has allegedly drowned while swimming at Pacific Harbour yesterday.
Police say the man had allegedly been drinking alcohol with others before heading out to sea for a swim.
They say when he failed to return, a search was conducted, and he was found floating in the sea.
Police say attempts to revive him proved futile.
Investigations continue, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
