Man arrested in the west after threat to shoot people if seized cocaine is not returned to him

Police have swiftly arrested a man in Lautoka after he said in a widely circulated video online that he will go on a shooting spree from Nadi to the Ba Police Station as police have seized his stash of cocaine.

He was arrested at his residence at Nanuya Street in Lautoka.

The person of interest also posted images of the firearm he claims he intends to use, along with threatening messages outlining his plans.

Police have confirmed the man will now be investigated for intimidation.

They are also investigating if the man has a gun in his possession based on his claim.
