Outfits worn by actors including Johnny Depp, Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet are to go on display in London.

The costumes will be available to view in a free exhibition in Bermondsey from Wednesday until 25 November when they will be sold off during auction.

The outfit expected to fetch the highest price - an estimated £45,000, is an early 19th century suit Depp wore towards the end of the 1999 film Sleepy Hollow in his role as Ichabod Crane.

Hosted by Kerry Taylor Auctions, the sale contains treasures from the archives of Cosprop, a costume house founded by Oscar-winning designer John Bright.
