Labasa FC has boosted its squad for the 2026 season with the signing of three overseas players ahead of the Pillay Garments Champion vs Champion series against Rewa FC.

The Babasiga Lions have secured the services of Miller Loloa and Gerard Avock from Vanuatu, while Chris Hatarau has joined the side from the Solomon Islands, adding international experience and depth as the club prepares for the new campaign.

The new signings come at a crucial time for Labasa as they look to make a strong statement in the highly anticipated Champion vs Champion showdown against Rewa.

However, the northern giants have also seen some key departures during the transfer window.

Ilisoni Lolaivalu and Rusiate Doidoi have moved to Ba, while Sitiveni Rakai has signed with Rewa.

The first leg of the Champion vs Champion 2026 series will be held on February 8, setting the stage for an early test of Labasa’s revamped squad.
