Labasa 7s: Army Green beat Roots Exile 12-5 in opener

Fiji Bitter 7s Series leaders Army Green kicked off their Labasa 7s campaign on a high note after defeating Roots Exile 12-5 in their first pool game.

Army lead the series with 1,696.7 points.

They will be looking for back-to-back wins after claiming victory at the Wairiki 7s in December 2025.

In other results, BLK Lavidi Brothers defeated Valeni Brothers 12-5, Police Blue beat Lavena Reds 12-0, Navunievu Brothers upset Naulana Rugby 12-0, Raviravi Warriors edged SR Amica 7-5, Faith Brothers beat Bainivualiku 10-0, and Kasabias Village Boys beat Gau Kacau 14-5.

The Labasa 7s is underway at Subrail Park in Labasa.
