55 new graduates have joined KPMG Fiji in the 2026 cohort.
In a statement, KPMG says of those, 33 have joined the KPMG Dynamix (FDX) division and a further 22 are working across Audit and Assurance, Advisory and Business Services.
The new starters joined the firm between the 1st of December last year and the 26th of January this year.
Managing Partner KPMG Fiji, Sharvek Naidu says they are delighted to welcome this new cohort of graduates.
He says that one of the new graduates working in the firm’s Connected Technology Group (CTG) was also part of KPMG’s successful Women in Technology – Insights Program, held in the second half of 2025.
He says the new intake of graduates represented fresh talent for the firm with a wide range of skills and interests highlighting three of the 55 as examples of the breadth of experience and commitment.

Samuel Yalimaiwai, a graduate in KPMG Fiji Advisory, is also a talented swimmer, participating at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore and set a new national record.
He hopes to qualify for the 2028 LA Olympics
Sitiveni Nakurua has both academic and sporting prowess.
He excelled academically earning a strong GPA while also representing Fiji in the Under 23 Netball team.
First in his family to graduate, Sitiveni achieved a National Toppers Scheme Scholarship, enabling him to study at USP.
He worked as an intern at KPMG Suva Office in 2024 while completing his studies and joins as a graduate in the firm’s Suva Audit division.
Meanwhile, Maria Aperto is a 2025 graduate based in Nadi and joins the KPMG Fiji FDX team which services the firm’s Geelong Australia office amongst others in the region.
Maria completed her secondary education at a small rural high school.
She is the first female from her school to graduate from University of South Pacific and join a large accounting firm.
