Fiji Bati second row forward Viliame Kikau has extended his stay with the Canterbury Bulldogs to the end of the 2028 NRL season.

The Fijian powerhouse was initially contracted for the 2026 campaign and was in high demand before signing a two-year extension to remain at Canterbury.

Kikau has played a key role in the club's rise to a premiership contender and is desperate to help the Bulldogs win their first title since 2004.

He says he is very happy to be staying at the Bulldogs, and the club has embraced his family and him since day one, so it was an easy decision to re-sign.

The 30-year-old says he loves being part of what they are building, and they have made great progress over the past couple of years.

He adds that they want to achieve more, and he wants to help this club win its next premiership.

Meanwhile, Kikau was the ambassador for the Kikau Academy, who donated toys to 200 children in Fiji ahead of Christmas.

The Kikau Academy partnered with Australian toy brand Kidstuff to spread the Christmas cheer during this festive season.
