Defending champions India have sealed their place in the Super 8s of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup after a dominant 61-run victory over rivals Pakistan.
The comprehensive win confirmed India’s progression from the group stage, while Pakistan slipped to third place.
However, Pakistan can still qualify if they defeat Namibia in their final group match on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the United States qualification now depends on Pakistan losing their final game and the Netherlands either losing or failing to surpass their net run-rate with a win.
The Netherlands must beat India, hope Pakistan lose, and could then advance depending on net run-rate calculations.
Namibia have already been eliminated from the tournament.
The T20 World Cup final will be on the 8th of March.
