People can expect delays in healthcare services at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital effective today due to water overflowing into the ceiling following the recent heavy downpour.
The Health Ministry says the affected areas and services include the Special Outpatients Department (SOPD) Dressing Room, Blood Testing Services (Phlebotomy Room), Echo Services at the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, the Operating Theatre and Support Areas, and the Medical Bay Waiting Area.
The Ministry says contractors and the CWM Hospital maintenance team are currently assessing the situation and carrying out repair and cleaning works in the affected areas.
