The Fiji Rakavi Football Union has appointed global sports specialist Red Tiger Marketing to support the organisation's Commercial strategy and partnership development as the union enters a new phase of global competition and long-term growth.

The appointment comes at a pivotal moment with the FIJI Water Flying Fijians confirmed as a Tier One nation and set to compete in the Nations Championship from 2026.

The expanded international calendar presents a significant opportunity to grow Fiji Rugby's commercial footprint while remaining true to the values, culture and playing style that make the sport in Fiji so distinctive.

Red Tiger Marketing will work closely with Fiji Rugby to develop a structured commercial strategy, focused on sponsorship acquisition, rights packaging, valuation and long-term partner alignment across all men's and women's programmes.

Fiji Rugby Chair, John Sanday says Fiji Rugby is entering one of the most exciting periods in its history as our teams are competing consistently at the highest level and there is growing global interest in what Fijian rugby represents on and off the field.

Sanday says this partnership is about building the right commercial foundations to support our athletes, communities and the future of the game in Fiji.

He says they are focused on attracting partners who understand their values and want to be part of a long-term journey.

Red Tiger brings a strong track record in elite sport and a clear understanding of how to build sustainable commercial models that support performance and work with Scotland Rugby, FIVB - Fédération Internationale de Volleyball as well as assisting with commercial partnerships for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Co-Founder of Red Tiger Marketing, Laurence Miller says Fiji Rugby is one of the most authentic and respected brands in world sport.

Miller says there is a clear opportunity to build a commercial programme that reflects the union's values, protects its identity and creates long-term value for both the sport and its partners.
