The 2026 Pillay Garments Champion vs Champion series has been postponed by one week and will now kick off on February 8.

The change was confirmed during the official launch of the Pillay Garments CVC held at the Fiji Football Association Headquarters in Vatuwaqa.

The 25th edition of the prestigious CVC series will feature Extra Premier League champions Rewa against Extra BOG champions Labasa.

The first leg of the competition is scheduled to be played on February 8 at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

The second leg is provisionally set for February 14 at Subrail Park in Labasa, subject to confirmation from the Labasa Town Council regarding the venue’s readiness and pitch conditions.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Officer, Mohammed Yusuf says the Labasa Town Council has until this Wednesday to confirm the availability of Subrail Park.

He adds that if the venue is not cleared in time, the first leg will be played on February 5 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, and the second leg will be played in Nausori.
