A $1.5 million investment over the next three years by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Fiji is set to boost the development of rugby in the country following the renewal of its partnership with the Fiji Rugby Union.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Fiji has renewed its three-year partnership with the Fiji Rugby Union, committing $1.5 million to support the growth and development of rugby across the country.

Under the agreement, Coca-Cola and Fiji Gold will continue as the official beverage partners of Fiji Rugby, providing both financial support and product supply to assist national competitions, performance programmes and player development pathways.

The partnership also continues to strengthen grassroots rugby, with long-standing support for community tournaments and development platforms that allow young players to showcase their talent.

Fiji Bitter remains a key part of the company’s rugby legacy through its historic involvement in the grassroots sevens circuit.

Commercial Director Ryan Mahoney says the investment reflects the company’s commitment to building the future of Fijian rugby by supporting players from village level through to the international stage.

FRU Chief Executive Officer Koli Sewabu has welcomed the renewed partnership, saying it will strengthen both grassroots and elite rugby while improving the experience for players, officials and supporters.

The partnership highlights a shared commitment to growing the sport and supporting future generations of Fijian rugby players.
