The Great Council of Chiefs meeting is underway at the GCC Complex in Nasese with approximately 98 percent turnout.
There will be three presentations from the subcommittee to the members of the GCC today.
The two-day gathering brings together chiefs and representatives from Fiji’s 14 provinces and Rotuma to deliberate on key developments and progress reports from its sub-committees since the previous meeting in November last year.
Updates are expected from Sub-Committees overseeing education and cultural revitalisation, community resilience and stakeholder engagement.
