Bula FC’s 4 overseas players to join team in PNG tomorrow after visa delay

Bula FC’s 4 overseas players to join team in PNG tomorrow after visa delay

The four overseas Extra Bula FC players who were not able to travel with the team to Papua New Guinea yesterday will be travelling to join the team tomorrow.

Bula FC Acting CEO Anushil Kumar has confirmed to fijivillage Sports that no players were offloaded from the flight.

He says the Four of our overseas players did not travel yesterday simply because their visas had not arrived at that time.

Kumar says they took them to the airport in the hope that the visas would come through before departure, but unfortunately they did not.

He says some of their players and officials were able to receive their visas on time and travelled with the team, while it was just unfortunate that a few did not.

He says this situation was not limited to Bula FC, as Vanuatu United also had players and officials who were unable to travel from Nadi due to similar visa timing issues.

Kumar says the team is settled, training well, and fully focused on Sunday’s match.

Bula FC will face Solomon Kings FC on Sunday at 5.30pm at the Santos National Football Stadium in PNG.
