Naliva won the FICAC International Anti-Corruption Day essay competition

A Year 11 student of Xavier College in Ba Asenaca Naliva says she becomes nervous when she thinks about everything they will have to do when they eventually return to school.

Naliva was the winner of the FICAC International Anti Corruption Day essay competition for Year 11.

She says the essay competition helped lessen her boredom during the lockdown.

Naliva says she has learned a lot about integrity and anti-corruption through the competition.

Jessica Singh of Natabua High School won the Years 9 and 10 essay competition.

There were categories for children and civil servants in the essay competition.

128 students from 58 schools and 39 civil servants took part in the essay and poster competition.
