Women In Business Awards gets $20,000 boost from ANZ

The Women In Business Awards has received a boost through a $20,000 sponsorship from ANZ for the annual event.

The awards was launched in 2003 honouring Fiji’s outstanding women and recognising those who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their business.

President of Women In Business, Dr Nur Bano Ali says this year’s awards will certainly see more opportunities for women to be recognised, as there will be a total of 10 award categories with the inclusion of two new award categories, women in ICT and women in finance.

The ANZ sponsored and inspired award “Woman in the Financial Services Sector” has a mission to move the dial on diversity and inclusion and promote the importance of an inclusive finance sector.

The President of Women In Business says that their awards program is supported by incredible partners, industry leaders, and the WIB community who have all committed to rally around this awards year on year to see more incredible women and organisations receive the recognition they deserve.

Dr Ali says nominations for the Women In Business Awards are now open and they encourage employers and friends of women to nominate their friends, colleagues or business partners.

Applications close on September 16th 2022.

The Women In Business “Emeralds and Diamonds” Awards Night will be held on the 21st of October at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.
