Agape Healing Church Ministry Pastor, Waisake Tulavu.

The woman who claims that she was sexually assaulted by Agape Healing Church Ministry Pastor, Waisake Tulavu in 2018 has told the court that she was not pregnant when Tulavu called her to Cunningham to heal her as she was losing weight every day.

This is after defence lawyer, Epeli Sau suggested to the 24-year-old woman that Tulavu wanted to have a private conversation with her in the porch because she was pregnant.

Defence lawyer Sau also asked the third alleged victim on why she did not tell the Police in her statement that Tulavu threatened her that she will die if she told anyone about the alleged incident.

The 24-year-old woman told the Suva High Court that she did not include that in her statement but Tulavu did say that she will die.

Sau also suggested to the woman that on the 21st of September, 2018, Tulavu came to her relatives’ home in Samabula to clarify the incident and not to apologise to her.

However, the woman told the court that on that day, Tulavu admitted that he touched her private parts and apologised to her saying that he was playing with her during the alleged incident.

The trial continues in the Suva High Court.
