Woman dies after partner allegedly sets her on fire

A man who allegedly poured hot water on his partner before setting her on fire has been questioned and released by police.

It is alleged that the incident occurred following a dispute last Friday in Nawaka, Nadi.

The woman was admitted in the hospital before she passed away.

Police investigations continue.
