SODELPA MP Anare Jale.

SODELPA MP Anare Jale says with tourists entering the country from this Wednesday, people need to hear from Government on how they plan to boost the protection against the newly-reported Omicron variant of COVID-19.

Jale also questioned Government in parliament today on how they plan to mitigate the third wave to avoid further loss of lives, loss of jobs and business and economic collapse.

He says these tourists come with great risk.

Jale also says that freedom of assembly, freedom of association and freedom of speech are only words in the 2013 Constitution.

He says in reality Fijians are denied the freedoms by various other legislation and regulations.

Jale says it is time for a change and time for a new Government.
