Rugby Australia has condemned as “totally unacceptable” the behaviour of several Wallabies fans after England coach Eddie Jones was filmed engaging in fiery verbal exchanges with supporters after being heckled as a “traitor” during last night’s match.
In one video, a man in the SCG Members section with a beer in his hand is seen sledging Jones.
The man points his finger at Jones and says: “You’re a traitor”.
Jones, who was raised in Australia and served as Wallabies coach from 2001 to 2005, was being flanked by security at the time and took offence at the comment.
He charged towards the man, who was standing behind the fence, and yelled back at him.
