Fijiana 7s team member Verenaisi Bari

The reason why she is in the team is the major factor that pushes Fijiana 7s team member Verenaisi Bari to keep reaching for greater achievements.

The 24-year-old says there have been a lot of challenges that she encountered throughout her journey but she keeps pushing herself to achieve her goal.

Bari says even without her late parents, the support she has been receiving from her siblings has always been pushing her not to give up when the going gets tough.

The Cakaudrove woman is part of the Fijiana 7s side for the 2024 Paris Olympics and will be making her Olympics debut.

She says she is just thankful for every opportunity that has been coming her way.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s is in Pool A alongside New Zealand, Canada and China.

The Olympics Women’s 7s competition will be held from the 29th to the 31st of this month.
