Western Division 2 beats Headquarters 1-0 in Police IDC

Southern Division has drawn 0-0 with Central Division in the last match of the Kontiki Finance Police IDC tournament at the Nasova Grounds in Nasese.

Meanwhile, Western Division 2 has beaten a star-studded Headquarters team 1-0.

Nadi soccer rep, Rahul Krishna scored the goal for Western Division 2.

Headquarters has the services of players such as Akuila Mateisuva, Jovilisi Borisi, Isikeli Ratucava, Joeli Ranitu and Ulaiasi Tamanisau.

In another match today, Suva soccer star Sairusi Nalaubu scored twice as defending champions Police Special Response Unit began their campaign with a 4-1 win over Eastern Division.

Madhavan Goundar and Mesake Nasilasila scored the other goals for PSRU.

PSRU also has the services of Simione Tamanisau and Tevita Waranivalu.

Rewa midfielder Gabirieli Matanisiga scored the only goal for Eastern Division.

Earlier today, a star-studded Southern Division were held to a 0-0 draw by Western Division 2.

Southern Division has the services of district reps such as Filipe Baravilala, Remeru Takiate, Waisake Navunigasau and Sahil Dave.

Western Division 1 has beaten Northern Division 1-0.

Ratu Anare Apenisa scored the lone goal for Western Division 1.

Western Division 1 has the services of prominent players such as Abbu Zahid and Pranil Naidu.

In other matches today, Western Division 2 and Southern Division finished the match 0-0 while Headquarters and Central Division also finished the match at 0-0.

The tournament continues tomorrow.
