The 1st ever-Fiji Bitter-sponsored Welagi 7s tournament is set to kick-off this Thursday and run through till Saturday.
The tournament will have 32 men’s teams along with eight women’s teams and 16 Under-21 teams.
The tournament will also include volleyball and netball and will be held at the Welagi Village ground in Taveuni.
There will be 16 men’s and volleyball teams, 16 women's volleyball teams and 20 women’s netball teams.
A total of $20,000 in prize money will be up for grabs across the three competitions of the 3-day tournament.
