More Police officers will be engaged in major towns and cities as the Fiji Police Force shifts its focus to the safety and security of all Fijians.

Chief Operations Officer ACP Abdul Khan says traffic officers are also monitoring the movement of people.

He says Police visitations will continue throughout the night, and additional manpower has been pushed forward to Suva and other areas.

ACP Khan says they understand other social events will be taking place after the Coca-Cola Games, and their officers will be out in numbers and will not tolerate any unruly behaviour from the public and are urging everyone to enjoy responsibly. The Chief Operations Officer has also called on parents and guardians to advise their children on the consequences of getting involved in any illegal activities.

ACP Khan has also acknowledged participating students, teachers, officials, and supporters who have assisted them in providing a safe and conducive environment for the Coca-Cola Games.
