SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka says the party maintains its stance on the ideals of its founding principles, and they will never compromise their political ideologies for a “marriage of convenience” as some in the main stream and social media are alluding to.

Gavoka says all decisions with regards to a coalition will have to be made by the Party Management Board after the election results are declared.

He says they are the final decision makers on this matter.

Gavoka says they have selected a team of SODELPA Warriors and they will fight these elections on their own.

He says SODELPA plans to win this election and form the next Government on its own.

Gavoka says as SODELPA Leader, he strongly believes that a coalition may only be necessary with parties of the same principles and values.

He stresses that they will never compromise their values and policies by accepting a coalition with a political party whose political philosophies are as different from theirs as night is today.

Gavoka says they stand for Truth and Justice, Fairness and Equality, Respect of Human Rights, the Rights of the Indigenous People of this Nation and the Rights of all Citizens of Fiji.
