Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach, Ben Gollings

Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings has revealed that the team lacked a little bit of composure in their decision making which proved too costly for them at the Vancouver 7s.

Gollings says that is one area that they are focused on tidying up at the Los Angeles 7s this weekend as it would have changed the results that they produced last weekend.

He says it is just small things like this that can cost them as the game of rugby 7s is really ruthless and it was highlighted to the team after last week’s tournament.

Gollings further says they are also working on their kick-offs as that is one of the areas that he believes they need to build on again.

The Fiji Men will play Great Britain at 2.54pm tomorrow in their first pool match, they will then take on Canada at 5.30am Sunday, before playing France at 10.22am Sunday in their last pool match.

The men’s cup quarter finals will kick off at 3.26pm Sunday, the semi finals will be at 10.08am Monday and the final will be at 2.32pm Monday.

The Fijiana 7s will take on Brazil at 1.14pm tomorrow in their first pool match, they will then play South Africa at 8.26am Sunday, before playing New Zealand at 1.24pm Sunday in their final pool match.

The women’s cup quarter finals will kick off at 6.14am Monday, the semi finals will begin at 9.24am Monday and the final will be at 1.43pm Monday.
