Digicel National Football coach, Flemming Serritslev says in his opinion, they have prepared the best team to take part in the Oceania Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup.

He says he will never complain about the lack of contribution for preparing this team.

Fiji Football Association President, Rajesh Patel says close to $750,000 have been contributed by Fiji FA, FIFA and OFC to prepare the team.

He adds they have given everything the team has needed and are hopeful that the pride the team has for the country, the Vanua and family will be put on the field to make Fiji proud.

Minister for Sports, Parveen Bala says the competition in Qatar will be at another level as they will be competing in one of the grandest stages in sports against the best of the best in football.

The team departs today for Qatar.

Fiji will face New Caledonia on 18th March in its first match.

Fiji’s second match is against New Zealand on March 21st and they take on PNG on 24th March.
