Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says they have one billion dollars worth of investments in the pipeline guaranteeing growing employment opportunities for the people.

In a video message on his Facebook page for the first anniversary of the border re-opening, Bainimarama says when they were busy helping to keep Fiji Airways running and investing in critical resources for the tourism industry, their opposition were busy sabotaging the re-opening and recovery.

Bainimarama congratulated all Fijians on what has been achieved.

He adds powered by a decisive vaccination campaign and prudent decision-making backed by experts, they ensured that Fiji was the best positioned country in the Asia-Pacific region to restart our tourism industry.

Bainimarama further says 365 days later they have achieved what many said was impossible.
