A Nadi woman has praised the work that the government is currently doing and says that they have a lot of faith in this government as it is not easy to salvage the situation we are in during the pandemic.

The woman highlighted this during the budget consultations held in Nadi.

She says they know that government will continue to pursue the work that it is doing to salvage whatever situation that the Nadi people are going through.

She also highlighted to the Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum that they are seeking a partnership with government as they need immediate help to protect the river banks of some villages.

The woman says the villages of Yavusania, Saunaka, Navoci, Namotomoto and Nakavu are currently experiencing landslides in the river bank.

Sayed-Khaiyum then thanked the woman and says that is something that government needs to consider.
