We cannot leave the marginalized to be marginalized - Dr Waqainabete

Medical researchers part of the inaugural Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Research Symposium were today told by the Minister for Health, Dr.Ifereimi Waqainabete that they cannot leave the marginalized to be marginalized.

Speaking at Novotel in Lami, Waqainabete shared a story about his recent trip on the medical ship – MV Veivueti.

He also thanked the staff of the Navua Hospital for their hard-work and dedication during the measles outbreak in the subdivision.


Dr.Waqainabete says they protected this nation.

Dr. Waqainabete also encouraged the participants to use the experience to ask the questions that needed to be asked which include a review of processes.
