We are not relying on talent alone - Kolinisau

The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side is working on perfecting their teamwork as they head into the first tournament of the 2025/2026 World 7s Series next weekend.

Coach Osea Kolinisau says he is looking at perfecting their teamwork because they cannot rely on talent alone.

He says there are a lot of X-factors in the team and if they can connect well, then they will have a good outing in Dubai.

The Fiji Men’s 7s side is the defending Dubai 7s champion after defeating Spain 19-5.

They will begin their Dubai 7s campaign against Argentina at 9.10pm next Saturday.

They will then take on South Africa at 12.16am next Sunday, and play France in their last pool match at 4.12am.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s will begin their campaign against the USA at 7.20pm next Saturday, followed by France at 9.59pm the same day, and New Zealand at 1.27am next Sunday.
