We are creating our own bad image – COMPOL

By Navitalai Naivalurua

We are creating our own bad image in this country.

This is the message from Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu when questioned about TikTok battle videos circulating on social media, where participants use vulgar language against each other.

Tudravu says they are working with the Online Safety Commission and are looking into this issue every day.

He questions whether we have responsible citizens in the country, saying it is a self-inflicted injury.

He adds that the repercussions are damaging and the country’s image will not improve if such behaviour continues.

The Commissioner stresses that there is a limitation to our freedom of expression.
