Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Professor Biman Prasad says they are a government that will listen to the people and are committed to working for the people and their future.

While speaking during the opening of the Sanatan Convention in Ba, Prasad says it is now up to the people how they participate in nation building with them from the avenues of public consultation that we have begun and will undertake in the near future.

He says the coalition government is committed to upholding and defending right to worship of every faith in this country.

He has encouraged people to unite under the umbrella of Sanatan Fiji and come up with a uniformed set of submissions that they want to make to the government to achieve the aims and objects of Sanatan Fiji and the Sanatan fellowship in Fiji.

Prasad says this will pave the way forward for the government and Sanatan Fiji to strive towards a noble pursuit.
