We Unite Fiji Party targets Constitution and the Acts that are in place – Doctor Jone Hawea

Deputy Leader of We Unite Fiji Party, Doctor John Hawea

Deputy Leader of We Unite Fiji Party, Doctor John Hawea says their main focus during the campaign period is to deal with the Constitution and the Acts that are in place.

While speaking outside St Stephens building in Suva after filing 21 of their candidate nominations to the Supervisor of Elections, Doctor Hawea says they are not focused on policies because they know how limited policies are because of the laws that are in place.

He says once the Constitution and Acts are changed, then the policies can be aligned to reflect the needs of the people.

He adds they know the limitations and the restrictions around proposing policies because it falls short.

The general elections will be held on the 14th of next month, while pre-polling starts in selected areas on the 5th of next month.
