Defending Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s men’s champions Wardens was held to a 21-all draw by Duibana in their first pool match earlier today.

The Wardens 7s team says they are still confident of winning their remaining two pool games to qualify for the knockout stages.

They say their players lost focus in the first game as they were affected by the Nadi heat as well.

However the team says nothing is impossible and the boys still have a chance of successfully defending the title.

Meanwhile in other men’s results earlier today, First Landing overcame Cagimaira Nadro 24-0, Nai-kaiolo won by default over Vuda Green, Raiwasa Taveuni beat Vadra-vadra 17-0, Police Blue beat Cooling Down Lau Brothers 24-0, Gaunavou Nadi beat Wallis and Futuna 7-0 and Wadigi Salvo won by default over Cloud Break Nabila.
