Midfielder and 2024 Male Footballer of the Year, Tevita Waranivalu has been appointed as the Interim Head Coach for Rewa while Priyant Manu is appointed as the Assistant Coach.
Rewa Football says this decision was made after consultation with the Board and senior ‘Rewans’.
They say they will not rush into appointing a permanent coach and will focus on each match as it comes, trusting in the capabilities of their current leadership group.
Setareki Hughes will continue to lead the team.
Meanwhile, the Extra Premier League will continue this weekend where Rewa will play Labasa at 3pm on Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park.
In other matches, Ba will host Suva at 3pm on Saturday at Fiji FA Academy, Navua will host Nadroga at 1pm on Sunday at Uprising Sports Centre, Lautoka will play Nasinu at 1pm on Sunday at Kings Charles Park and Tavua will face Nadi at 3pm on Sunday at Kings Charles.
