Tanya Waqanika has resigned from the Constitutional Offices Commission and had called on FijiFirst General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum to resign from the Commission as well.

Waqanika confirmed this to fijivillage News and says her resignation has been accepted.

On her Facebook page, the Suva Lawyer stated that she will not resign from the SODELPA Party as the support and the survival for the Coalition Government is more important to her.

She adds the good news is that Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum also falls within the same criteria as her as they are both members of their political parties and she expects him to resign as well.

We have sent questions to Sayed-Khaiyum.
