Susie Waqanibaravi has been appointed as the new board of director to the Fiji National Provident Fund.

FNPF says Waqanibaravi replaces Mukhtar Ali, whose term on the FNPF Board has ended.

They say Waqanibaravi brings with her more than 10 years of senior leadership experience, including working with multi-jurisdictional teams.

FNPF says she has extensive business experience with specialized skills in finance and accounting.

They say Waqanibaravi is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer at Fijian Holdings Ltd and previously held the position of Director Finance Fiji and Group Shared Services at Neptune Pacific Agency and is also a fellow of the 2017 Resnick Aspen Action Forum, in Aspen Colorado, USA.

FNPF says she has also held senior positions at Natural Waters of Viti Pte Ltd and Munro Leys and is a council member of the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Waqanibaravi’s appointment was effective from 1 March 2024.
