Wallabies aim to do things right in do-or-die clash against Wales

Wallabies aim to do things right in do-or-die clash against Wales

After their disappointing 22-15 loss to the Fiji Water Flying Fijians earlier this week, the Wallabies are confident of getting things right next Monday when they take on Wales in their third 2023 Rugby World Cup match.

Hooker and stand-in captain Dave Porecki says they did not get things right against the Flying Fijians and they are hoping to turn that around against Wales next week.

Porecki says everyone is talking about how they have got an upcoming do-or-die game but it's a World Cup so every game is do-or-die for every team.

Despite the loss against Fiji, the Wallabies had some positive take-outs from that game led by Porecki as they dominated the lineouts whether in attack or defence and they will be looking to use some of that against the Welsh.

The Wallabies will need to beat Wales to have a chance of qualifying for the quarter finals and making the equation in Pool C even more trickier.

The Wallabies will take on Wales at 7am next Monday in Lyon.

Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians will have a week off and will take on Georgia at 3.45am on the 1st of October in their third RWC pool clash.
