WOWS Kids Fiji will be holding their Gala Dinner on the 30th of November at the Grand Pacific Hotel to highlight their WOWS Heroes, the children who are bravely battling cancer.

The campaign for the Gala Dinner will start next Sunday.

WOWS Kids Fiji Interim Team Leader Mere Williams expressed her gratitude towards the platinum sponsors, All Freight Logistics and ZEG Investments PTE Limited, for their generous donations towards the Gala Dinner.

Williams also shed light on the various challenges faced by the organization, such as the difficulties in reaching some children due to their remote locations and lack of stable homes.

She says out of 40 children they assist in the Central Division, only 16 were able to attend due to hospital admissions and other complications.

Speaking to fijivillage News, WOWS Kids Fiji Trustee Anabel Ali says at the end of the day, it's not about making money, as it is about the children and how they can improve the quality of their lives throughout their cancer journey.

She says last year, they managed to raise a net of $60,000, and anything above that this year will be really good.

All Freight Logistics Sales Marketing Manager Apukuki Raisuwake says they are there to give back to the community.

Raisuwake says WOWS Kids Fiji are doing incredible work, and they want to support them in their fight for these children and let them know that they are not alone in this fight.

The WOWS Kids Gala Dinner promises to be an impactful event which will draw attention to the ongoing battle against child cancer and the vital role of community support.
