Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem

From this weekend, voters will be able to verify their names on the provisional voter lists at the Fijian Elections Office hotspot venues.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says the venues will be announced today.

Saneem says this is based on the latest data as of 3rd of September.

He says the provisional voter list contains the voter details like name, gender, voter card number, residential address and photo.

Saneem also says the voters are listed in polling venues by their surnames.

He also says people can still vote in Fiji if you lose your voter card on election day.

Saneem says this can happen as long as you are registered on the voter list.

The Supervisor of Elections is encouraging voters to update the details on their voter card if there is a need.
