People are once again being reminded to be wary of posts asking for money being deposited into M-PAiSA accounts following a poster being shared online regarding a competition.

According to the poster, people are being told to transfer $2 into an M-PAiSA account to enter a competition to win mobile phones and money.

20-1

Vodafone says the post on facebook soliciting money from M-PAiSA users to be part of the draw is neither approved nor authorised by Vodafone M-PAiSA.

They say Vodafone has reported the matter to the Police as likely a scam for further investigations.

Vodafone is warning users once more not to send money or respond to such social media posts without first checking the authenticity of the promotion.
