Vodafone Fiji CEO, Elenoa Biukoto today announced the appointment of Fareen Saheb as Chief Financial Officer and Salman Khan as Chief Commercial Officer.

Fareen has an impressive track record in financial management and brings a wealth of experience to strengthen Vodafone's leadership team further.

Fareen Saheb assumes the role of the CFO with over 18 years of experience in the finance and telco industry.

Over the course of her career, she has held a variety of key positions in the finance department, rising from the ranks of Graduate Accountant to Regional Financial Controller.

Fareen is a chartered accountant and Fellow of CPA Australia who comes with a wealth of knowledge complementing her career progression, having served as the first female President and Vice President of the CPA Australia Fiji Representative Committee.

She has a Master of Commerce in Professional Accounting from the University of the South Pacific, a Diploma in Telecommunications Management from the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organization and a Diploma in Project Management from Arthur Group, Australia.

The new CFO says she is honoured to have been entrusted with her new role at Vodafone at this exciting time in the telco industry, with Vodafone's commitment to technological advancement and delivering exceptional customer experiences aligns perfectly with her own professional values.

As the new CFO, Saheb will lead Vodafone Fiji’s financial operations and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategies.

Biukoto also congratulated the newly appointed Chief Commercial Officer, saying Khan will play a vital role in advancing Vodafone Fiji's commercial objectives, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to the valued customers.

The Vodafone CEO says Khan’s experience has also allowed him to advance within the organization, serving in both the Frontline and Corporate departments.

She further says his experience and proven track record in the telecom sector make him the ideal leader to drive our commercial endeavours and create unparalleled value for our customers.

Khan holds a Master of Information Systems (MINS) from the University of the South Pacific, with certifications including Cisco Certified Network Associate from the University of the South Pacific and Strategic Account Management from the University of New South Wales.

He says Vodafone Fiji has always been at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge telecommunications services, and he looks forward to contributing to the company's continued success and growth in this dynamic market.
